Some backend components power SmartQ services rather than being bundled into the iOS application.
Native iOS
The native iOS app currently uses Apple platform frameworks such as SwiftUI, MapKit, StoreKit, CoreLocation, SwiftData, ActivityKit, and DeviceCheck. It also includes Sentry Cocoa and the Meta Wearables Device Access Toolkit via Swift Package Manager where those integrations are enabled.
Maps and weather
SmartQ may use Apple Maps for native map rendering, walking-route fallback, and navigation handoff. Apple Maps provider acknowledgements are maintained by Apple.
SmartQ may use Google Maps Platform services, including Google Directions or Routes where configured, for route geometry, transit or walking timing, and navigation-related planning support.
- Apple Maps acknowledgements
- Apple Maps terms of use
- Precipitation map overlays, when enabled, use OpenWeather.
Services and platforms
SmartQ may rely on these service or platform categories to distribute, host, secure, monitor, or operate the product. Availability and use can vary by surface and deployment.

- Apple Maps / MapKit
- Google Maps Platform / Google Directions and Routes where configured
